Your Wedding Photography really is an investment. Although I am better known as an Ayrshire Wedding Photographer, I do travel outwith Ayrshire – I travel throughout Scotland and The UK. But happy to price up Maldives & Carribean Weddings too! We also offer a discounted price for Monday – Thursday Weddings. If you are interested in one of our stunning Packages, we do offer an Early-Bird Discount. So if you want to save UP TO £450 off your package, get in touch, but what it really means that if you pay in full at time of booking, you get a big discount – For example, if you had gone for our top package and paid in full, you’d get £450 off and slightly less for the other album packages etc. On our USB Package you would save £150

What is the average cost of a Wedding Photographer in the UK?

According to a recent article in Bridebook , the average cost of wedding photographers in the UK in 2024 is £1,500. There will be some variation by region, type of wedding and time of year. For weddings that span several events over several days, the cost is likely to be at the higher.

How many Photos should you get from your Wedding Photographer?

The industry average, for an 8 hour wedding would be between 400-800. For weddings that may span over several days, the figure will be higher. However, the focus should always be on QUALITY rather than quantity

Can I extend the session on the Day?

It is likely that I would be booked out for the whole day to you. However, if there are unforseen circumstances and the event is required to go beyond the booked hours, then my stay may be extended but will depend on what my schedule is for the following day

What is the average hourly rate for a Wedding Photographer?

In the UK, the average hourly rate for wedding photographers is between £100-£200 per hour, and will vary depending on location in the UK, the location and distance of your wedding venue, and the size of your wedding. Larger weddings with more guests take longer to edit.

Will There be a second shooter?

This will be dependant upon your requirements. For some wedding, due to coverage required, there may be a second shooter. This will be factored into the price. There may be occasions when I may bring a second shooter to help me with some creative work

What kind of gear do you use?

I use Canon R5 cameras. These are full frame dual card mirrorless cameras that very many wedding photographers I know also use. I have a variety of top quality lenses including 16-35mm, 35mm, 85mm and 35-150mm to give full range coverage. Combined with this, I use Godox lighting. Portable, reliable and within my range of affordability

Do I have to order prints via you?

You have access to all the digital images and you can order through third party to get your photos printed.
However, I have in place arrangements for you and your friends and relatives to order online and get the prints delivered straight to your door
